-Keeping a firm embrasure while playing
-Keeping the curve of the fingers while playing
-Full breathe support
This week I feel I have improved in all the goals set for this week. By correctly setting my embrasure before I play, as explained in rep class, I found my sound to be more full and round. I strive to keep this embrasure throughout the practicing.
I also feel that my finger placement has improved. I spent a lot of practice time with scales, both playing and just fingering, while focusing only on how they move. I noticed that my right hand is usually solid throughout this, but my left tends to straighten out when I start thinking about anything else. I am working to improve this.
For full breathe support, I mainly played long tones and focused on keeping the air moving without any diminuendo on a note. I found this to be quite effective, especially with the steady embrasure set before starting a note.
